Confusion with equivalent focal lengths, SEL18-200mm and SAL70-300mm

Ignore the "equivalent" talk. One is 200mm the other is 300mm and therefore 50% "longer"(greater apparent magnification .

The statements about "APS-C" and "Full frame and APS-C" refer to what cameras the lens can be used. That is, the APS-C would not work with a full frame but the full frame will work with both.
