Lightroom 4.3 has inexplicably stopped communicating with Flickr

Yesterday I had spend a few hours working in Lightroom and exporting to Flickr using Lightroom's publishing services (as I've been doing for 2 years now, trouble free, on my iMac). Suddenly, when I went to export a short set of photos, BAM - no more ability to export to Flickr. I get a pop up telling me "Count not contact the Flickr WebService. Please check your Internet Connection.
Web research reveals that this used to be an issue when the photo(s) filename contained an apostrophe. However, that doesn't seem to matter in my case. I've tried "re-loading" the Flickr Plug-In to no avail.
Anyone had any similar issues?
Thanks!
Brian
