OMD: why camera wakes up with any button press?

I don't understand why the camera should wake up from standby pressing any button; I think only some buttons (maybe even shutter only) should wake it up. It's just too easy to press a button, especially if you have a neck strap or you only use a hand strap. Battery resources are scarce compared to a DSLR...

Am I the only one who doesn't like it?
