Gidday Roger

I had a look at your full size image. I like the composition of both line and colour very much with the sky, mountain, hills and fields across the foreground. Can't help but wonder if there is some atmospheric effect (ice crystals, or something?) or slight motion blur in the image at full size though.

I am seeing plenty of the latter with trying to learn to hold my "new" EC-14 steady on the back of my 50~200 at full stretch! Eventually my new Benro monopod and Manfrotto 322RC2 grip ball head should help, but that takes some getting used to as well! I have never been one for tripods, and this is the first monopod I have ever owned in my life - I have used them before, but rarely. Of course I own a tripod (the latest of a few), but hate carrying them around; setting up; etc.

One thing to use them with my telescopes, another altogether to use them with my cameras!

So thought I would compromise with a good monopod and a very good grip ball head. They seem to be helping ...

Thanks for sharing. We don't have any "real" mountains left in Oz. They mostly wore down to a fairly flat plain by around 1,200 MYA ...
