Amateur: Looking for some C&C please...

I rather enjoy taking pictures of the (my) kids, but I feel like there is allot of room for

improvement.  I would really appreciated some constructive criticism. Here are my own:

Photo 1: Too shallow DOF

Photo 2: Daughters head cut off (is this ok?)

Photo 3: Subjects appendages partially out of frame.
