I can use it without reading glasses - I use +2.00 for reading - but reading glasses (or multifocal contact lenses!) makes using the LCD a better experience. I always prefer EVF/Optical VF to LCD - so I knew going in this would be a bit of an issue with the RX100 - but it is clearly not a deal breaker. I keep a cheap pair of +1.50s on a croakies strap for any extended RX100 outing.
