The end of spirited discussion?

The new move to appoint 3 moderators to each DPR forum will be very interesting. Photography being such a multifaceted endeavor inevitably leads to a wide range of opinions, many of which are held strongly, are we now going to be forced to hold certain opinions or be asked to 'shuffle off'?

My advice for the moderators would be to use clear warnings before action is taken against an individual, and to provide an opportunity for civil communication with the moderators.

Nothing will kill this forum quicker than a culture of tip toeing around contentious issues.
