for me it´s a toy camera at the best,

Well it has better image quality above 400 ISO then the Sony a700 APS-C DSLR, which I used to own. It focuses faster and more accurately too. Do you think the Sony a700 was a toy camera as well?

i dont get the typical idiotic nikon decision to skip the true hotshoe! I would never buy this 1V2, because in 6 month you can buy it f0r 300.- with lens!

The new "hot shoe" of the V1 and V2 has more electrical connections and thus more utility than just a standard Nikon hot shoe. This connection port will also accept and electrically connect any one of the following to the electronics of the camera.

  1. GPS unit
  2. Microphone for video sound recording.
  3. Video light.
  4. Articulating LCD*
  5. Macro ring light*

*Note: These accessories have not been released yet.

So what is needed is a HOT Shoe adapter to fit the shoe of the V1/V2. I can live without built in wireless control, but I would like to be able to use the shoe to host an RF trigger for studio flash.
