A non-defective D600...who would have thought it'd be so difficult for Nikon to acknowledge this? The fact that they are having a fire sale and have yet to just simply say..."we are aware of this issue from SN X to Y and all new Nikon D600's will not have this issue"... is maddening.
That post says it all. Buy the D600, but be aware of the manufacturers attitude towards it's customers about it's products. Some FOOLISH decisions in the top executive ranks of Nikon is causing irreparable harm to their LONG established reputation for quality products.
Pretty soon people will say Nikon doesn't build them like they used to and be 99% correct. Sad.
