It just struck me about the D 600.

I was puzzled by the continued price drops on the D600. This is not usual for Nikon. But it struck me that the price drops exist because Nikon has no answer for the dust issue on cameras that were initially Manufactured. Perhaps the only answer is to recall those cameras sold with this issue because of a design flaw; an action they don't want to take. So if they sell the 600's at a reduced price, perhaps they won't have to take the bullet on a recall. The discounts are designed to sell down these flawed units.
