School play Lumix G5 + 45-150 zoom + pany / Leica 1.4 for snaps afterwards - need advice

Observation.

The core cast (4 older kids) weren't of big interest.

So looking back, I was more trying to get on stage dressed up (with face painting as cats and other animals) "portraits" of my kids  and a few action shots than documenting the play as a whole.
