Yes, you are right, but a computer based on i7 CPU's is kind of standard today. A high capacity PC is cheap and quite adequate to do the job. It does not need to be a super-duper computer, but no doubt that a Duo Core CPU is outdated and has been outdated for many years.
Not sure what duo core system you're talking about but the i7 CPU's are quad core, not duo. And you can still buy early generation i7-CPU's.
