Nice photos.

I was looking at the XZ-2 for concert photography, can you confirm whether it it's quick to hunt for focus at the tele end when there is a lot of stage lighting (mainly red lighting that ruins my proposed shots with my current compact for gigs, Sony HX9V).

i just came back from The Black Keys at the O2 in London (20k capacity). I had standing tickets and was 6 rows from the front. When the lighting was blue or natural then most of the shots were fine. As soon as reds were introduced, the photos were ruined (blurred and red sheen of light covering the subject).

I am contemplating between this camera, the LX7 or the RX100 as my compromise camera for gigs.

The Oly appeals to me for the extra bit of zoom. At the moment its mainly the video of the XZ-1 that is holding me back from buying it (I like to take 30% videos at concerts).

My local dealer seems to think the RX100 may be best for focus focus speed due to the sensor, but I thought the better lens on the Oly and Panny would be more suited.

Any thoughts?
