For landscape (on a tripod and with tilt shift lenses and waiting out the best light for like three photos a day) I'll shoot raw for sure. But I have seen no compelling evidence you can get anything that looks like Velvia from digital. A lot of it is that might just be technique, though; with Velvia you have four stops to work with and you need to spot meter religiously. If I overexposed a few stops and only shot low contrast scenes as I would with Velvia, maybe I could get the same punchy look... Maybe I'll try shooting a bit side by side. Is it possible to make a LUT (look up table) for still images or is that video only?
