A65 will not enter power saving mode, chewing the battery.

It is set for 10 sec, but the LCD screen stay on untill I turn off the camera.

I changed it to other different time intervals, but no change.

Did a few hard resets, same thing (menu+movie+play button routine).

I asume that the hard resets were OK because I would get the alpha logo flash for a split second on the LCD screen. Nevertheless, no saved settings or time, date, etc. have changed or defaulted.

Perfect timing as I am leaving on the 20th for a trip.

Any suggestions highly appreciated.
