Calm down.  Take a deep breath.  Perhaps I wasn't clear - I said extra reach without cropping.  Meaning you don't have to crop the image to get the final framing you wanted.  The difference is that the DX sensor crops the image circle using all the pixels it has available, whereas with an FX sensor you have to throw away a third of the available pixels to get the same framing.  Not a big deal when you have 24 or 36 Mp to work with, but worth mentioning to someone who is considering making the switch.  If the OP relies on the DX crop for distant subjects, she'll want to understand that her workflow will change if she switches to FX.
