SLT for Bifs?

Looking for a lighter camera and lens for Bifs. Wondering how well focus following and lock compares to pro dslr? Also need at least 450mm equiv. lens or good zoom. I am attracted to the fast burst rates and in body stability with the slt but wonder about lens availability and focus tracking. Also I am fine with a good evf.
