Focus is pumping after AF (SEL 1650PZ)

In A Mode with this exposure settings: 1/80 f/5.6 ISO320 there is no pumping
When I change the apterture to lets say f/9 ISO is set to about 3200 through autoISO, shutter speed still 1/80 but the focus is pumping very rapidly (more often then once per second) and very little... I tried it with steadyshot on and off, same result...
What could it be?
