It'll be back. We will see more of these, 6d vs. D600. Canon and Nikon want to sell lenses and need to get cheap FF bodies out to drive demand. Nikon seems to have more inventory on hand, based on their earlier launch, so they use it for a preemptive strike. Also, still lots of cheap 5dII around.
