Second hand 1D mark II

I was saving around 800$ to buy a new Nikon D5100 gear

just yesterday i was offered a used Canon 1D Mark II with 70-300 and 35-70 lenses, along with a bag, filters and the charger. The Canon is available for 1200$

What do you say? Shall I put another few bucks to get the 1D Mark II ?
