PSE 10 and Silver Efex Pro

I am trying to install the Silver Efex Pro (the old version) as a plugin under PSE10 but cannot manage to do this. I see that the PSE 10 is not in the compatibility list of SEP but is there any way to trick the installer to provide the plug-in version? At the moment it offers only the standalone version of the program.
