How to see "polarization" in a DP1/DP2M

So I just got myself a circular polarizer. Where in my optical viewfinder, I would usually be able to tell the polarization with the darkened areas. But now with this, I can't tell at all! It looks exactly the same on the rear LCD!

How do you guys deal with this?
