SX50 Mini-Review Take Four - Different Paths to Up Close and Personal

My friend Dale pointed out that I made an error early and then held on to it for the entire article. Now I know that both the SX40 and SX50 have a 1/2.3 sensor which is 6.17mm by 4.55mm for an area of 28.5mm². Somehow while writing, I got in my mind that it was the smaller 1/2.5 sensor and continued that way (I'm inherently stubborn) for the rest of the article. The good news is that the only measurment data in the article it effects (other than the fact that I was wrong a number of times) is the macro factors (but not by much). Sorry all.
