Want to buy a used D70

I used to own a D70 and loved it's responsiveness and 1/500 flash sync speed.  I want to buy another as 6MP is plenty for my needs, but I did have a problem in the past with lenses backfocusing.  Since there's no autofocus fine tune, and my intent is to use fast primes wide open, I'm hesitant to purchase one.  If I purchase a new 85mm 1.8G lens and a used D70, would any adjustments needed be done by Nikon for free?  Would I need to send them both the camera and lens?  Is there another option?
