T4i/650D + Canon EF 135mm f/2L USM combo for Day and Night Video Shooting? - SUGGESTIONS?

Going for T4i body while avoiding the kit lens as well as the new stm lens and opting for a EF 135mm f/2L USM lens.

Main purpose is to shoot videos, not so keen about stills. Initially was going for some other lens though saw a video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FM-0r-z-zSo and really felt that I should get this lens THOUGH need some good advice if I should or shouldnt as well as any other lens (or two lenses) suggestions that can be used for day light shooting and low light.

I know it lacks IS (Image Stabilization) and this is the only negative about this lens though please guide me about this lens or better alternate.
