Why I still chose the NEX-7 over the NEX-6

Well currently I have  the kit zoom 18-55 > which has surprised me at times, the Sony 50mm OSS > which is a great lens, and the Sigma 19mm f/2.8 > currently used for landscapes....

The main reason I got the NEX-7 which is its NUMBER ONE ATTRIBUTE: Resolving Power of the 24.3 MP sensor which is great for landscape photography. You can significantly crop and still get a fairly clean image with enough detail. I am producing 24x40 stretch mount gallery wrap canvas, and 30x40 stretch mount canvas with excellent detail and color.. This makes me extremely happy to be able to make such large prints on canvas that I am able to sell when I want too...

The other reasons I got the NEX-7 was the Tri-Navi dials and it being a powerhouse in such a small size provided you have the right lens...

What I HATE: SONY needs to get off their IR transmitter crap, which I own, and go to a standard plug for wired or wireless transmitter for remote firing hands free shooting... And to be able to bracket shoot with the transmitter...

Overall its a keeper...
