DSLRs are ugly looking equipment......

I have recently entered the mirrorless market of cameras and wonder why I did not use CSCs sooner.

Excellent image quality in a small and modern looking piece of equipment.

Now I cannot help but look at these big DSLRs in their cheap looking black cases and think why these things are still available and are still being bought in their numbers. They remind me of the old brick mobile phones that eventually become replaced by their slimmer and smaller equivalent.

It has got to the point where I cringe at people carrying a DSLR as a general camera especially those with the extra big zoom lens. They look ridiculous.

I understand they are better cameras right now but the mirrorless CSCs are almost there and will catch up.

Anyone else think the DSLR is starting to die?
