Fall colors in the High Sierra Nevada, taken Mid Oct 2012, later afternoon, S602z Pro, iso 160

This is about 15 mile south of the town of Bodie, CA. This is taken from private property of a Rancher friend of ours up there. The mountains etc are actually controlled by the BLM. I take this shot almost everytime I am up here and it always looks different. Much of the fences have disappeared from the elements of corrosion and wear over time. I did use a ND 2x filter only for this one and exposed as the camera desired within it's settings. I shot continuous on this one @ 5fps and selected the best one of the lot. This is a new shot however.  Note IF you look closely into the base of the mountains you should see some 3D effect I am trying out from a plugin for CS5.
