Agree completely. It doesn't take a genius to realize that all the bells & whistles (touch screen & lens compatibilities) don' mean squat if the camera is too slow to take that once-in-a-lifetime shot.

On the bright side: Video capability is very good. If your primary goal is to take videos... on a camera... that should function first as a very good photography camera... but it's not.
