Nex-5N, can i get better shots?

Hey guys,

I have a Panasonic FZ38, that use for travel, (landscape, etc.), party/family shots and some sport shots, (manly wave sports as surf/bodyboard).

I have below a 3 foto burst (OOC) for some C & C. about it.

Do you think i can get better IQ with the NEX-5n?

I´m not and don´t pretend to be a "sports pro",

But will the NEX-5N with 55-210mm lense get sharper and detailed fotos off action like the ones i posted here, even if i have to crop some shots (because the FZ38 does 486mm against the 315mm)?
