RX 100, yet another dust post
|
So after some two months, all my pictures have two ugly and rather large dark spots. Very hard to remove in post processing.
What is there to do?
I tried the vacuum trick, did not work for me (although 4hp vac and very tight fit around the lens barrel)
I might have been tempted to disassemble the camera, but the particles are not directly on the sensor. They are somewhere in the lens assembly, they move about 10% of the frame between wide and tele.
Bring it to Sony? Will they take it for cleaning? How much would it cost? Anyone has any experience with the service?
Or just thrash the camera and get another one?
Disappointed.
Thanks for any suggestions.
