I think this is something you will have with pretty much any color filter array sensor.  The Fuji X-trans sensor has a broader pattern so interpolation errors particularly at edges can be expected to be a little worse than normal bayer pattern sensors.

It's a tradeoff between color moire and bleeding apparently.  I already have an X-E1 so I won't worry about it.  I do see the issue clearly in the images the OP presented.

If you want something that does not have the problem at all, try Sigma.  The DP2M is only $800.  Sigma does not interpolate between pixels because each 3-layer pixel records full color.  Yes you can really tell the difference, particularly with a top grade lens in front of the sensor, and the DP2M has this too.

I have a Sigma SD1 (same sensor as the DP2M) and bought an X-E1 for its convenience and portability.  So, when I want to print 24"x36" I can just use the Sigma.  But for everything else my X-E1 seems to be the camera.
