D800: Auto-ISO blinking..?

This will be my last Newbe-question for a while, promise, so please bare with me...

Again, checked the manual and searched the web.

When I have ISO-auto engaged it blinks continuously, making me think something is not right. My ISO sensitivity is set to 100

auto ISO sensitivity control: ON

Maximum sensitivity: 3200

Minimum shutter speed 1/60

If I understand my settings correctly, I have set it so that when it needs more light than 100 ISO it will automatically change ISO up to 3200. Right? But the ISO-AUTO display starts blinking once I need more light than 100 ISO. Is it blinking just to tell me that it is shooting at above 100, or is it trying to tell me that I'm doing something wrong?

Cheers!
