Dp1M or DP2M

Hi there,

I am in need of a smaller backup body now that my Sony has been sold to fund my more to Pentax. I am wondering whether the DP1M or DP2M is more suited for me. Please note that I don't want alternatives, I don't give a damn about battery life or write speed. LuminousLandscape praises both but says that the DP2M is a more special combo, sharper too. Which would be better, as they are the same price, focal length isn't a big deal, but I do prefer wider than more tele, is the sharpness sacrifice worth it and will it compete with my K5iis for image quality
