It's absolutely outstanding.

I just unboxed mine and shot a few test shots in a quite dark room at 1/16 sec; f/4,0; ISO 25600 and I am absolutely impressed. Noise is acceptable and I don't notice any banding, images are sharp and colors are outstanding. What an amazing camera! In the dark, it sees even better than my own eyes!

I am not a pixel-peeper, I just enjoy taking pictures, and this is such a huge improvement from the 7-year old technology of the old 5D, that it's absolutely a no-brainer upgrade!

Handling is comfortable, adapting to the new button layout seems quite easy, since every just seems to be in the right place. Shutter noise is soft and quiet.

Haven't played around if any settings yet, just a few test shots to make sure that everything is in good shape. And I just wanted to share my excitement on the forum since, hadn't it been for you guys, I would have probably never considered upgrading so soon!
