Off Topic Question--GPS Recommendations for the Trail

The GPS is not better than the map that it runs with. I have had several models of Garmin and are please with those. It is easy to find maps, sea charts etc. You could buy or download a cracked one. Many GPS´s eats batteries and check how long the run on a set of batteries and when you have dont forget to put it on power saving mode.
