Canon 40/2.8 STM Pancake 60D samples

OK, I added a few samples taken from this lens with 60D (in addition to 5D2 samples) for your reference in case someone has an interest to this lens. They are two group of scenes - near and far, taken at f/2.8 wide open, f/5.6 and f/8.0 respectively.

Two f/2.8 samples here. I applied +120 sharpening on 60D (and +70 on 5D2). +100 shadow pulling and -100 highlight recovery in LR4.

Here are two samples of 50/1.4 on 5D2.

50/1.4 at f1.4 wide open with 5D2

This relative new lens is freaky sharp at f/2.8 wide open, not only in center but still pretty good in edges/corners, and AF fast. STM motor is ideal in video shooting with new DSLRs that could take advantage of it such as 650D/T4i. It's also relative cheap at $150 at this moment.

Here are few samples from my 5D2 (except one, all others were taken at f/2.8). I will find a chance to take some photos with this lens on my 60D. It's gloomy raining/drizzle weather three days in row in my area. It's so small/light and a fun to use. I also own 50/1.4 that is weak in AF and usually need to stop down a bit to get reasonable sharp photos.
