Where to get ARC Chip for Canon 9000 MKII

After 2 years I finally got the dreaded "Cartridge not Recognized" error. A couple of questions:

1. Where is the best place to get replacement arc chips?

2. How long do they last?

3. Is there any difference in the printer detecting low levels?
