Which lens should I get with the t4i?

I finally settled on getting the t4i. The camera comes with either a  EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II Lens or a EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM Lens. The latter kit is $200 more expensive.

I am already planning to get the EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II in addition to whichever camera kit I pick.

As I understand, the 18-135 is better for video, which I'm not planning to do much with this camera. Both lenses are well rated. Will I be better served with the smaller, lighter (cheaper) 18-55, or is the 18-135 better? Considering I'll have the 55-250 when I need to zoom in closer.
