NEX-6 + Nikon Nikkor 85mm 1.8 and 135mm 2.8 meet Willy Wonka

I used to have an NEX-5N, but I purchased a 6 for the EVF and hotshoe.

Combined with some good legacy lenses, you get a lot of power in a small package. Everything is, of course, manually focused. The 85mm 1.8 Nikon Nikkor is probably my favorite lens, followed by my 50mm 1.4 Minolta Rokkor. The only autofocus lens I use is the Zeiss 24 1.8.

I purchased the 135 2.8 Nikkor Q on eBay for 40 bucks

The 85mm 1.8 cost 150. Both are in mint condition to give you an idea of what you get for your money.

The NEX-6 has slightly better lowlight capabilities over the 5N. The sensor is actually 16.4 MP--something like that--over the 16.1 of the 5N, but the extra pixels are used for autofocus points only, so the overall pixel count is still 16.1.

ISO photos up to 6400 and beyond are very usable, depending on lighting conditions, but 3200 is typically my upper limit for most shooting situations.

One of the greatest strengths of the NEX system is the usability of legacy glass with a manageable crop factor of 1.5. M43 cameras cannot capture the same amount of detail of DOF as an NEX camera, but, even worse, the 2x crop factor makes it really difficult to use a lot of old lenses.

The bounce flash on the NEX-6 is also a plus.
