D800: When switching from program to manual mode settings...

Sorry if I'm not following the proper etiquette on this forum by posting multiple questions in a short amount of time, but I honestly have tried to find this info in the manual and online.

From what I have figured out, when you switch to Manual mode you get the settings from last time you were in Manual mode. Anyone know if there is a way to set up the camera so that when you enter Manual mode, the most previous setting - regardless of what mode you have been in - is what gets dialed in?

If I am being unclear, let me illustrate: Lets say you're taking a concert picture in A-mode and the shot is taken at 125 - 2,5. It would seem more logical to me when switching over to Manual-mode if the setting was at 125 - 2,5, instead of whatever it happened to be at last time you shot using Manual.
