Anyone regret purchasing the RX100?

There is one (and only one) reason to buy a RX100:

You want the highest IQ pocket camera.

If you do not want or do not need a pocket camera then there are better choices out there.

My take is that if you are asking then the raison d'etre of the RX100 is not apparent (or not important) to you.

Get a NEX or a Fuji in that case.
