Tape goo on camera body. Removal question

I was removing some old electrical tape from a pair of scissors and didn't notice I had some of the "tape goo" on my thumb.  When I picked up my 5D, some of the goo was transferred to the body of the camera.  My question is, how should I remove the goo?

The goo is where your thumb would rest while shooting.  It is on the textured part of the camera.

Q-tip and rubbing alcohol?
