On Thursday night I will be comparing my GH2 to my GH3 with my 8" telescope. There are a couple of hidden features on the GH3 that could make it the best Astro Photography camera to date.

This thing is a real gem. If only these clouds would go away sooner.

Have you tried the pentax k5 or k5IIs with the gps unit that shifts the sensors to track the star's? Id Imagen that would be quite hard to beat for astro photography.
Although not sure how well it works with telescopes

GPS is no where near accurate enough to use with a telescope. It typically is accurate to within 20-30 Feet.

Most people achieve accurate tracking by measuring the changes in a portion of a pixel.

The AP world is about to get turned on its head because of the GH3. They won't even see this beast coming.
