Interesting, Ray. I had read carefully your comparison between the Sony and the LX7 before deciding to go with the LX7 -- because of the better lens and controls -- and I was sure you had gone the other way, preferring in the end the LX7 for your personal use. I find it interesting that you liked so much the LX7 controls that you ended up using it more. I also love the LX7 controls. I also find that the aperture ring is fantastic. Yes, it is more limited than the Olympus ring -- it does only aperture, not also shutter speed -- but this is an advantage, as the ring can be marked with the aperture values, and becomes very intuitive to use. Sometimes less is more!
