Buy or not now the Epson SP 9900?

Hello, I am just upgrading my HP-Z3100 - 44" (2008) to a new brand (ABSOLUTE no HP, because there is no supplies in CHILE)...I am figure out that EPSON SP9900 is a very good printer (44"), however, looks like a new model will came out soon (pretty soon)...

Does make any sense to purchase now the Epson 9900? (The price is US$6000 in Chile, no rebate at all), Should I wait because the current model (SP9900 is quite old?)

and what about the Canon iPF8300 / iPF8400? any comments
