a850 "beyond economicaly repairable" from internal condensation

I have been successful with other electronic devices, I have never tried a camera. I would try the 1g Silicone gel sachets inside the body of the camera, then get a load of the 10g Silicone gel sachets put them in a polyethylene bay, put your camera inside the bay so it is completely surrounded. Squeeze all the air out, tie the top so it is airtight and give it a week to try and draw the moisture out. Make sure the battery is not in. There are no guarantees but for the $10 it will cost I would give it a go.
