i7 Hiper-Threading problem with Lightroom 4

There is no complains on this forum related to a very slow Lightroom on Macs with i7. However Adobe has acknowledged the problem and is trying to fix it starting with LR 4.1. The problem has not been fixed in LR 4.2 supported by Adobe advice to turn Hiper-Threading off negating the most important i7 benefit (i5 is i7 with turned off Hiper-Threading). As reported the Windows people have such option but not OS X.
Do i7 Mac owners have this problem?
