IPTC questions for PainShop Pro users

Hi,

I'm using a old version of PaintShop Pro, which still satisfies my needs, but which has one big problem: It's not able to write IPTC info and even deletes IPTC info which is already there on resaving

So I need an upgrade, but don't want or need the newest version, which my PC can not even run.

What I'd like to know:

- What is the first version of PaintShop Pro that is 'IPTC-aware' (so it does not delete the IPTC info already there when saving an image)

- What is the first version that can write info in the IPTC fields?

I'm not talking about XMP sidecar files, but the IPTC fiields in JPG, TIF and PaintShops own format.

And when you can add something on the stability of the version(s) you know, that's very welcome too. As I understand stability/bugs became more of a problem after the Corel takeover.

BTW, you don't need to be afraid you'll be helping me to use illegal versions, I have sources for the official old versions
