Bag for Nikon p7700

For a less-than-all-day excursion, where you just need to carry your P7700 without all the peripherals, I've found the Nikon SS600 speedlight bag, which came with my SB600 speedlight, to be a perfect fit.  It's exactly the same cross-section as the camera and only an inch longer.  Its top flap has a patch of velcro to keep it closed.  There is a small pocket that would hold a memory card, but if you need more than one card you're on a different type of trip. I carry it by its belt loop, so the camera and bag hang vertically, like a six-gun by your side. The inch of space at the top of the case might accommodate a neck strap, but since I don't use one, I can't say for sure.

I tried a number of Lowepro and Case Logic bags before stumbling onto this little jewel. They were all either too small or too bulky for my taste.
